lyrics
you...you...you...you..
You...you...you..you...I...I...I...I...
Tell me,
Did you mean it?
Lord knows I don’t wanna do this no more
Last time
When you said it,
All that I had and all we had before
This time,
Did you feel it?
All of these fames that you play,
You know,
Do you really, know?
You don’t need a reason,
Truth is now I’m seeing...
Youuu,
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe we’re bad for ourselves.
Did you mean it?
Seem to be tripping on doubt,
When you said it,
Taken some time just to figure it out.
Are you still cold from the hold of your hell?
Keep on make believing,
Truth is now I’m seeing...
Youuu,
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe I’m somebody else.
Now I’m seeing youuu,
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe we’re bad for ourselves.
Tell me,
Did you mean it?
Only love put smooch hate in your heart,
Last time,
When you said it,
I guess you showed me your colours again,
This time,
Did you feel it?
Or just imagine this tragedy real?
You know,
Do you really, know?
You don’t need a reason,
Truth is now I’m seeing...
Youuu,
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe I’m somebody else.
Now I’m seeing youuu,
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe we’re bad for ourselves.
This time...
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
... I couldn’t tell...
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe I’m somebody else,
... this time...
Acting like somebody else,
Maybe you’re somebody else,
Actually I couldn’t tell,
... I couldn’t tell...
Bad for my health,
Hell, maybe we’re bad for ourselves.
Love make so much hate in your heart.

My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
